William Newman Cook and Elizabeth Heard

... William was born 25 March 1816 in Hedley, Essex, England to William Cook(born 1791) and Mary Ann Ketcher (born 1795).  He died 30 Nov. 1900 in Forest Dale, Salt Lake, utah.  He was married to Elizabeth Heard(Hurd) who was born the 27 August 1814. The Salt Lake City Cemetary shows him as being born 1815.  His grave  location there is D-4-19-1-W2.  Plot 23510.

Elizabeth was born in Goldhanger, Essex, England. They were married 24 Dec., 1836 in Goldhanger, Essex, England.  This is where their son Quinton was born.   She died 23 Oct. 1894 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

This 1900 census shows William as widowed and 84 years old.  I believe it states he was a retired machinist.

... Mary Ann is the mother of William Newman Cook who was born 25 March 1816.  She was married to William Cook.  She was born 1795 and died the 2 Dec. 1844.
